July is national grilling month. It’s time to pay homage to grilling. These days grilling goes way beyond hot dogs and hamburgers in the backyard. You’ll be amazed at the range of grilled choices in Edina, from meat to salads to cupcakes and more.

 

The Explore Edina visitors’ bureau sponsored a spring fashion show at Edina Country Club that combined styles for men and women from Galleria, Southdale Center and shops at 50th and France.

 

In 1996, former athletic director for Edina High School Steve Dove reached out to Sun Current sportswriter John Sherman with an idea. He suggested they create a Hall of Fame to honor some of Edina’s great athletes.

Dan Hoedeman is a natural goalkeeper. He guarded the real estate around soccer goals up through his collegiate career, and Hoedeman continues to tend goals—greater ones—as a cofounder of the Minneapolis City Soccer Club (MCSC).

 

Dr. Justin Anderson is a licensed sports psychologist and owner of Premier Sport Psychology in Edina. According to Anderson, the sports psychology field is growing and becoming essential for many athletes.
